The last time I saw Mike was in KC back in the early 80's. I got along well with him and he gave me some picutures of my son David. This was much appreciated.
Sincerely
Bert C. Miller

May God give you comfort during this difficult time. I never met Michael in person but he would call the public radio station where I work at and we would visit all the time. He always recognized my voice. He knew my son is active in the Marines and when he was in Iraq Michael checked on him about once a month. I will miss his calls very much.

Mike lived across the street from our shop and came in often to tell us all the news in his booming voice. We're going to miss that.
