Eulalia Loy Eukie Karraker, 83, of Buhler, Kansas, passed away at 8:06 a.m., Sunday, July 15th, 2012 while in the company of family members at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. Eulalia was born in Three Sands, Oklahoma on March 22, 1929, the daughter of Lloyd B. 'Jack' and Chloe E. (Sills) Emerson.Eulalia attended the Wickersham Grade School, McPherson Middle School and graduated from McPherson High School, McPherson, KansasEulalia was a member of Hopefield Mennonite Church Moundridge, Kansas and was a former member of the Calvary Baptist Church, McPherson, Kansas. Eulalia was a homemaker and worked for McPherson County Hospital as a housekeeper and was a hostess for Kemps Resturant Eulalia L. Emerson Griffith was united in marriage to Clifford E. Karraker on December 24, 1953 at the Church of Christ McPherson, Kansas Surviving family members include her caring and devoted husband of over fifty-eight years, Clifford Karraker of Buhler, Kansas; her children, Eva Yvonne' Stanton and her husband Warren of Columbus, Kansas, Lawrence Eugene Karraker and his wife Juliet of Woodstock, Georgia, Wallace Allen Karraker and his wife Mary of New Berlin, Wisconsin, and Kevin Ray Karraker of Little River, Kansas; her siblings, John L. Emerson and his wife Zona of McPherson, Kansas, Fred Q Emerson and wife Jennia of Dallas, Texas, and Lynne' Cyphers and her husband David of Newton, Kansas; her 15 grandchildren; her 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.Eulalila was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd B. 'Jack' and Chloe Emerson; an infant sister Dorena Mae Emerson;Friends are invited to call on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Glidden - Ediger Chapel, McPherson, Kansas. The funeral service will be held at the Glidden - Ediger Chapel, McPherson, Kansas, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 20th, with Pastor Galen Dreier and Reverend Warren Stanton officiating. The final resting place will be at the McPherson Cemetery McPherson, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to Hopefield Mennonite Church in memory of Eulalia and can be sent in care of the Glidden - Ediger Funeral Home; 222 West Euclid Street; McPherson, Kasnas 67460.
