Patricia Kay Wendt

Patricia Kay Wendt, 79, of Mcpherson, Kansas, passed away at 1:10 a.m., Sunday, April 24th, 2022 at McPherson Hospital , McPherson Kansas. Patricia was born in Hutchinson, Kansas on May 29, 1942, a daughter of Agnes Marie (Parr) and Guy Folck. Pat attended Canton Galva grade school and graduated from Canton-Galva High School in 1960. She was a member of First Christian Church in McPherson. Through the years Pat worked as a clerk for the District Court in McPherson, Kansas until she retired in 2006. Pat enjoyed shopping, traveling, cooking, scrap booking and spending time with her friends and family. Patricia was united in marriage to Terry Wendt in McPherson, Kansas where the young couple established their first home together. They were blessed with the birth of a daughter, Traci. She is survived by her daughter Traci Atkinson and her husband Neil, of Hutchinson, Kansas and her significant other Jim Fendt, of McPherson, Kansas. She is also survived by her grandson, Connor Sullivan. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Vickie Burton and her grandson Ian Sullivan. Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at Glidden - Ediger Chapel in McPherson, Kansas. Burial will be on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at McPherson Cemetery, McPherson, Kansas.with Pastor Lynn Scott officiating.
