Vicki Diane Pucket

August 22, 1941 - November 2, 2018

Vicki Diane Pucket of McPherson, Kansas, passed away at 1:18 p.m., Friday, November 2nd, 2018 while in the company of family members, at Bethany Home, Lindsborg, Kansas. Vicki was born in Concordia, Kansas on August 22, 1941, a daughter of Marcelyn Winniford (Davis) and Harland Hartley Harper. Vicki attended the Glasco Grade school and graduated from Glasco High School, Glasco, Kansas in 1959. She then attended and graduated from Brown Mackie Business School, Salina, Kansas. She was a former member of First Baptist Church McPherson, Kansas. Vicki was a homemaker and she took great pride in providing for her family in this manner. Through the years she worked as a secretary for Insurance Services Company of Salina, Kansas, and Goff Industries, was secretary and office manager for Kansas Green Thumb, was secretary for Midwest Telephone which later changed to Midwest Electric, and she retired from Farm Land Industries as Dispatcher. Vicki was a member and secretary for the McPherson Bowling Association for many years. Vicki enjoyed bowling, traveling, dancing, camping, fishing, coaching softball, playing cards with Jim and Jane Jones, loved holidays, playing the piano, fellowship with her friends at the round tables, and spending time with her family and friends. Vicki Diane Harper was united in marriage to Larry Lee Pucket on May 28, 1960 at the First Christian Church, Glasco, Kansas. This union was blessed with the birth of three daughters, Rebecca, Rachelle, and RaDonna. She is survived by her husband Larry Pucket, of McPherson, Kansas; her daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Bornhoft and her husband Dan, of Gilbert, Arizona; Rachelle "Shelly" Marsh and her husband Kevin, of Kansas City, Missouri; RaDonna Friesen, of Aurora, Colorado ; her brother Rick Harper and his wife Kim, of Ellsworth, Kansas; 5 grandchildren, Carlee Bornhoft, Nicholas Bornhoft, Morgan Rose and fiancé Liam Reilly, Noah Marsh, and Jacob Marsh; other relatives and a host of friends. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Harland and Marcelyn Harper. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Novmeber 8, 2018 from 5 p.m. to service time at Glidden - Ediger Chapel, McPherson. Memorial service will be at Glidden - Ediger Chapel, at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018 with Chaplin Phil Hett officiating. Private family burial will be at Glasco Cemetery, Glasco, Ks. Family request donations to Kindred Hospice or Bethany Home and they can be sent in care of the Glidden - Ediger Funeral Home; 222 West Euclid Street; McPherson, Kansas 67460.
